Unflurry for iPhone · Updated October 16, 2026

This policy describes how the Unflurry iPhone app handles your information. The app does not include advertising, analytics, or cross-app tracking.

What stays on your iPhone

Confirmed schedules and Apple’s private app-selection tokens are stored locally on your iPhone and shared with Unflurry’s Screen Time extensions to apply your rules. These saved rules and tokens are not uploaded or synced to a cloud account. Unflurry does not collect reports of how long you use other apps.

If you enable optional deletion protection, its hours and your choice are also stored locally. This setting affects deletion of every app on your iPhone; it does not send an app list to us.

When you describe your hours

If you use natural-language schedule entry, submitting a description sends that text and your timezone over an encrypted connection to our service, hosted by Railway, and then to OpenAI to interpret a draft. The welcome screen links to our Terms of Service and this Privacy policy. Choosing Agree and continue accepts the sharing described in those documents. Agreeing does not send a description; only submitting one does. You can choose manual times instead. Older app builds reach Railway through a compatibility service hosted by Vercel. Apple’s selection tokens and your installed-app list are never sent. Anything you type in the description is included, so avoid adding personal information you do not want processed.

Our service does not log rule text or model output. Requests use storage-disabled responses, but this does not mean zero retention: OpenAI’s applicable monitoring and retention policies still apply. Railway and Vercel may process technical request information, including IP addresses, to operate and secure the service. See OpenAI’s privacy policy, Railway’s privacy policy and Vercel’s privacy policy.

Verifying the app and limiting requests

Public builds use Apple App Attest to verify that requests come from Unflurry. Apple processes the attestation. Our service stores a random installation key identifier, its public key, a verification counter, and the last request time. We use these only to authenticate requests, prevent replay, and limit abuse. They are not an advertising identifier and are not sent to OpenAI. No user account is required.

One-time verification challenges expire after five minutes. Request counts expire within 32 days. Installation verification records are removed during service cleanup after 90 days without use. We do not store your schedule descriptions or draft results in this database.

Your choices

You can choose your hours manually without sending a description to our service. Saved rules work offline. You control Unflurry’s Screen Time authorization in iPhone Settings; revoking that permission stops Unflurry from enforcing your rules.
